Madrona Books & Publishing is located on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada.

The press was established in 2002 by Margaret Cadwaladr and specializes in memoir, autobiography and life story.

As well as the best-selling author of In Veronica’s Garden: The Social History of the Milner Gardens and Woodland, Margaret is an articulate public speaker and educator. She holds a Diploma in Adult Education and an MA in Sociology.

Margaret has informed and entertained audiences in Dublin, Boston, Philadelphia, Toronto, Seattle, Portland, Edmonton, Vancouver and Victoria and is available as a public speaker, writer and consultant.

Madrona Books is a member of the Independent Book Publishers Association and an Associate Member of the Association of Book Publishers of BC. Margaret Cadwaladr is also a member of the Federation of BC Writers and the Comox and Campbell River Arts Councils.
